Flavored waters are the waters that have natural and/or artificial taste added to enhance the flavor. There are three types of flavored water—still, sparkling, and functional water infused with natural flavors. Artificial carbonation, additives, minerals, and sweeteners are added to the water. Functional flavored water contains health-promoting ingredients such as minerals, vitamins, herbs, botanicals, and alkaloids that provide health benefits. Flavored water includes therapeutic components that help to boost the immune system, regulate the pH level, and revitalize the body.
Consumers' daily schedules have become hectic over the years, necessitating a lifestyle change to tackle the daily chores. The lifestyle change is negatively impacting the health of people and is becoming a major cause of health difficulties such as obesity, cardiovascular illness, vitamin deficiencies, and others. The response to this aforementioned problem is that manufacturers of flavored water have developed drinks that are high in minerals, alkaloids, antioxidants, and protein.
